Because of the way the tubing was in the box, it caused it to kink in several places and it wouldn't allow the air to move down to the spider. I bought 3 and every one of the spiders had the same problem. When I had these as a kid, the tubing was much more flexible, and we never had this problem. Like everything else, manufacturers cut corners to widen their profit margins..I was mad that they took a "classic" and cheapened it to the point it was a DUD!! Not to mention, I had 3 VERY disappointed grandkids!
